Password Protect Your Scans

Applying a password to PDF scans when they are shared with others can provide an additional layer of security.  

1.  After selecting Share from the Review Page, select the Password lock.

2.  Turn on the radio button for Encrypt to require a password in order to open the scan.

3.  Turn on the radio button for Allow to print to require a password in order to print the scan.

4.  Enter a password and repeat to verify the password.

5.  Select Save.
